For over 15 years I have had daily pain in my back and hips, this has led to me playing less and less golf, less exercise and poor sleep at night. The pain has been constant and daily.
Just before Christmas, following the advice from my osteopath, I started taking private Pilates sessions. After a couple of weeks of daily Pilates (Two sessions with my instructor then 30 minutes each evening at home on the key exercises), my life has been transformed.
I still have aches and the odd trapped nerve, but they are less intense and I have breaks of pain free moments. I’m convinced that this will get better as time goes on, after all, it is no different to lifetime bad habits in the golf swing, they also don’t disappear overnight and without regular effort.
